1. Massage – Massaging the scalp daily with water for 10 to 15 minutes after the bath is useful. It stimulates the blood circulation on the scalp and strengthens the hair follicles. You can also massage with aloe vera gel or coconut milk. Leave it for 30 minutes on the scalp and then rinse with warm water. Homey and egg yolk can also be used.

2. Deep Breathing –

The deep breathing exercises can increase the energy levels as they deliver oxygen to the blood. It nourishes the scalp follicles.

3. Neck Stretches –

Do some stretches. Keep the head forwards and then, right and life sides. Turn in both sides as far as you can without straining. Nod the chin towards the chest, and then lift it up. These minor exercises help relieve tension and also improve the blood circulation.

4. Gravity Exercises –

Gravity works well for the thinning hair problem. Practice ‘Shoulder Stands’ (with/without a wall). Exercises like these help increase the blood flow to the hair scalp. You can also lie on the back and lift your legs against the wall.

5. Aerobics –

Exercises like jogging, cycling, walking, swimming, etc. are very useful as they tend to lower the testosterone levels in the body that lowers the DHT levels, resulting in less hair loss. But, you should not do the heavy weightlifting exercises as they increase the DHT levels. Bodybuilding is linked to hair loss.

6. Natural Herbs and Extracts –

There are various lotions, creams and ointments. You can use Basil, Burdock, Ginseng, Gotu kola, Nettle, Lavender, Parsley, and Rosemary etc. Also you can try the essential oils that have great beneficial effects for thinning hair. But, always use these oils with carrier oil like ‘olive oil’.
